La Salle University’s brave college journos: After being told that they couldn’t run an embarrassing story (involving a professor, a business seminar, and “strippers”) above the fold, the staff of the school’s newspaper — who already had to fight tooth-and-nail to run the story in the first place — decided to protest the university by running the entire front page below the fold, making the story even more noticeable as a result. “The truth is that we got there first,” the staff wrote in an editorial. “Our hands were tied, but that is a fact that the staff as a whole has come to accept, albeit begrudgingly.” These guys have balls.
